停一下 / Pause a While is an installation of two textile pieces. One piece consists of geometric shapes sewn together, evoking the illusion of an overhead window framing clouds drifting by. The other captures rectangles of light, gracefully cast upon the ground through an open window.
These unassuming moments of beauty captivate my gaze, prompting a contemplative pause. These textiles extend an invitation to the viewer — a gentle prompting to pause, reflect, and navigate the weight and allure hidden within the folds of the ordinary.
